Leveraging Your Grant Funding to Get Stuff Happening, with Allyson McGrane

September 21, 12-1:15 p.m. PT
Writing grant applications can be a very technical process. Yet for most magazines, the development of an overall grant application strategy is an art, not a science.
We will look at ways to divide up operations into projects and consider whether multiple phases over time can allow you to reach bigger goals. In thinking about your work holistically, it may be possible to gain access to funding that’s equivalent to far more than the sum of its parts.
Allyson McGrane is a successful producer, creator, grants writer and consultant.
Since 2000, she has worked with hundreds of professional and community artists and arts organizations in Metro Vancouver and beyond, with extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse cultural communities.
